Pre-Cat
The Pre-Competitive Team is designed for swimmers making the progression from swimming lessons to competitive swimming. Proper technique and stroke instruction are the main emphasis of this team. Swimmers are also instructed in learning proper starts and turns.

Try-Outs
Swimmers interested in joining the Pre-Cat Team must attend a try-out where they will be evaluated on stroke technique and how they move thourgh the water. Upon completion of try-outs, swimmers will immediately be notified whether or not they make the team and what group they will be in.
Tryouts for PCAT will USUALLY be the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, from 5:00-5:45 PM. Interested swimmers need to attend 2 of the 3 try-out days to be considered for the team. Please bring a suit, towel, goggles and a swim cap for swimmers with long hair.
